Paolo Giancaterino is an associate lawyer at Langevin Morris Smith LLP. He practices in the areas of criminal defence litigation, Highway Traffic Act and other provincial offences, labour/employment law, commercial litigation, and civil litigation.
Paolo graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science in 2003. In 2006, Paolo graduated from the University of Ottawa Common Law program with his law degree (LL.B.). Paolo articled with the firm and continued as an associate following his call to the Ontario bar in 2007.
While a student at the University of Ottawa, Paolo served as a member of the Common Law Student Society and was also part of the founding executive of Canadian Lawyers Abroad (formerly Lawyers without Border), serving as an executive from 2004-2006.
Paolo is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa-Carleton, and the Carleton County Law Association. He is also a member of the Canadian Italian Advocates Organization (CIAO).
When not in the courtroom, Paolo can be found coaching soccer with the Nepean City Soccer Club or playing with his soccer team in both indoor and outdoor leagues. He is also an avid golfer and hockey player.
